House on the Hudson lets the light shine in
Kathy and her husband bought a stunning waterfront property in upstate New York and were intent of creating a forever space for their young family.

The Brief
Turn an outdated property into a riverside retreat for a busy couple and their young family
Kathy wanted
- tranquil, fresh and modern
- inspiring to guests as they entertain frequently
- to embrace the Hudson River views
- ability to withstand lots of kiddie foot traffic
The Challenge
Selecting a full palette quickly because the contractors were ready and deadlines were tight
The Palette
Soft grays and whites throughout created a fresh feeling and let in tons of light. Main bedroom and nursery in muted tones kept the feeling classic, clean, and contemporary.

Kitchen Before & After

Kitchen transformed with color drenching in White Dove by BENJAMIN MOORE and dark stain floors and woodwork

Entryway transformed with Sebring White by BENJAMIN MOORE and darker stained woodwork. Eliminating the green feature wall elongates the visual line

Warm neutral BENJAMIN MOORE colors in main bedroom and nursery create a cohesive soothing atmosphere
